Michelle Whitmer is a writer with more than 15 years of experience covering medicine, cancer care and environmental toxins. She was quoted by The New York Times on the dangers of asbestos exposure, and her articles have appeared in newspapers, magazines and journals published in the U.S. and abroad.

In 2018, Michelle received three Digital Health Awards for her reporting on asbestos in talc and other consumer products.

She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association, National Association of Science Writers and Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine.
